Masterclasss Improvisation for all Understand, create and dare to improvise

An internationally acclaimed accordionist, Ludovic Beier is a major figure in Gypsy jazz. He performs all over the world, collaborating with artists such as Toots Thielemans, Herbie Hancock, Ute Lemper, Veronica Swift and Melody Gardot. A member of the Django Festival Allstars, he also teaches at the Levallois-Perret Conservatory and holds a Master's degree in gypsy jazz.
Learning objectives : Understand the fundamental mechanisms of improvisation. Improvise on a simple grid using accessible melodic tools. Use pentatonic and blues scales in different styles. Develop rhythmic placement (binary and ternary). Build a simple, effective accompaniment. Develop listening skills and creativity within a group.
