Hello AnimatedG! Tight budget? That was my case; I turned to the used one. Chromatic button? I don't know them, I play the piano accordion. There are plenty of bargains in the used ones on the internet. But unless you try it and inspect it yourself, you really don't know what you are buying. I tried a few at an accordion shop in Quebec City until he offered me one whose sound I liked. He made it more expensive than the same accordion on ebay, but with a 3 months warranty. At a price equivalent to 12% of the price of the same new accordion, I really don't feel deprived that it is not the latest fashion. The important thing is what I do with it and that makes me happy. I think your best chances are in the small instrument stores or in the classified ads for accordion lessons and sales. Good luck!

Hello, Choosing your accordion is not like buying a pair of slippers. If your budget is tight, you should think about the digital accordion. At "Roland" there are several models. Ask for more information at .... always interesting: -the choice of sounds, the weight of the instrument ......... @+ Paul

Hello, you can try at Paris Accordions, 80 rue Daguerre. I went there a few times and bought an arranger. I have a Crucianelli 80 acoustic bass and a Roland digital FR3x and a Musitech MT40 keyboard. It has nothing to do with it. Neither the touch nor the accordion sounds. You'll see for yourself. good choice. dan
