Trainer : Jacques Mornet has established himself as a major figure in accordion pedagogy on an international scale. Winner of the Gus Viseur prize and the silver disc from the Russian Gnessin Academy, he is the founder of the CNIMA. His method, nurtured by over sixty years' experience, has spread far beyond national borders, and today inspires teachers the world over. The results obtained over the years have confirmed the soundness of this method, naturally extending the commitment of the man who started out as a schoolteacher.

Accordion workshop FRANCK ANGÉLIS with Franck Angélis
Dates: July 12-16, 2027
Contents: Work on pieces from the Franck Angélis repertoire under his guidance. From very accessible teaching pieces to the more virtuoso pieces that have made him famous.
Training focus: Improving technical and musical skills in playing the composer's pieces.
Trainer: Franck Angelis is a leading contemporary accordion composer and winner of the Trophée Mondial de l'accordéon in 1981 (senior classical). He has been teaching at the Gennevilliers CRD since 1992, and holds a DE diploma.
Ludovic BEIER An internationally acclaimed accordionist, Ludovic Beier is a major figure in Gypsy jazz. He performs all over the world, collaborating with artists such as Toots Thielemans, Herbie Hancock, Ute Lemper, Veronica Swift and Melody Gardot. A member of the Django Festival Allstars, he also teaches at the Levallois-Perret Conservatory and holds a Master's degree in gypsy jazz.
Content: Initiation open to all in order to Familiarize yourself with Brazilian, Gypsy, Zydeco and Celtic styles. Develop your playing skills with a simple, fun approach to a repertoire open to world music. Work on themes and develop a relevant interpretation, whether festive, improvised or reproduced. For all instruments and all levels.

Trainer: Steve Normandin is a Quebec accordionist, singer and singer-songwriter, active for over twenty-five years on stages in Quebec and around the world. He has accompanied numerous song and theater artists, including Clémence Des Rochers, Marie Michèle Desrosiers, Raymond Lévesque and Robert Lepage. Since 2021, he has been responsible for programming the Carrefour mondial de l'accordéon in Montmagny, Quebec. He is developing a recognized body of work on French-language chanson.
