Hello everyone, I think you'll agree with me in saving our SLADE chef too much work!!! After a search on Jo DASSIN's 4 pages: I found the score 6 times .... Is it useful ??????????????????????????????????????????? I'm passing over all the other artists .... Before submitting a score: CHECK that it is not already .... even in response to a request!!! this has happened to me and other times the spelling varies or the words are pasted ...... While we're on the subject of comments, we should also point out that some members don't even bother to give a thank-you after we've gone to the trouble of finding a score.

Good evening
I agree with both of you. For the past few weeks I've been giving tracks for scores because I don't want to upload to a site and drop off here and do the opposite. ..... I have not seen any follow up.
Some don't even do the search, so a little reminder: Google is our friend. In search, type title + pdf or title + score + pdf.

Since this topic Slade has created a way of proceeding which first checks the names of the authors and/or performers and then the words of the score title!
This is why you MUST use the :
Add a score
in the score tab (just below the title next to the 'Most loaded' button). All you have to do is check that the title you want to add is not already in the proposals...
However, there may still be duplicates due to different spellings, different authors for the same title...
In this case, pointing them out will help you decide whether or not to remove them!
Example:
- Jane Birkin's sludge is present 3 times in a row (as a photo on page 1, then on page 2, and as a pdf that includes both pages).
- Laurent Michelotto's L'enchanteresse is duplicated, probably due to an error in the mailing process.
I'll point them out to JJ ...

all these remarks are common sense!!!
since we're in the season of greetings, let's hope that everyone is aware of the importance of these steps.
a future "instructions manual" will undoubtedly be very useful, especially for new arrivals.

Bonjour a tous, une fonction qui serait peut être intéressante serait de permettre à celui qui a posté une partition de la retirer lui-même, comme cela en cas d'erreur il ne faudrait plus "embeter" les administrateurs pour les corriger....
