To search for a score Of course, there is the search mode of Windows, but then when we have hundreds of PDF, it is useful to search visually in the explorer, it is more intuitive and faster (by activating DISPLAY then Medium Icons or Large Icons or very large Icons)
provided that it works ! Because ADOBE doesn't care about the world and provides a module "Adobe's PDF preview handler and thumbnails" which doesn't work ( and it lasts since 2010 !!!!)
fortunately LEO DAVIDSON
a computer scientist of Genius found a temporary solution which finally allows to read the very large ICONES (Thumbnails) in the explorer of Windows !

it's safe ! recognized by all the computer scientists dealing with the subject !
but it doesn't solve all the problems because all the softwares that use the ADOBE Pluggin, work little or badly or not at all to see the thumbnails of the PDF .... and I quote the most common
- ACDSee (viewer and database in all formats)
- WhereIsIT (the best PC archiving database)
- WinCatalog ( the equivalent of WhereIsIT but simpler )
these 3 softwares do not manage to show the thumbnails either
1) without the Leo Davidson patch
2) with the patch
