A musician and composer with an atypical career path, Patrick Brugalières has long been a fixture on the stages of some of France's most renowned chanson artists. Although he naturally writes for his instrument, he mainly composes and orchestrates music for the fields of image, communication and song, in sound worlds that are very often the opposite of what one would expect from an accordionist. He produces most of his music in his own studio, while occasionally working with prestigious orchestras in London, Budapest... He is notably the arranger-orchestrator for Alain Chabat's film "Asterix, Mission Cleopatra".

He studied in Rio de Janeiro with the best musicians in this style: Bebe Kramer, Hamilton de Holanda, Luis Barcelos, Eduardo Neves, Rogério Caetano, Luciano Maia, Marcelo Caldi... He plays with the group Zé Matuto.
Contents:
Forró is a traditional music and dance from northeastern Brazil. Master the bellows technique specific to Brazilian accordionists and this music.
Two-handed accompaniment of another melodist. Improvisation on chord grid, counterpoint or solo. Rudiments of the percussion instruments that accompany this style. Mastery of a dance repertoire.
Training focuses:-

28 dance rhythms" accordion workshop
with Maxime d'Errico
Dates: August 17 to 21, 2026
Contents: Learn and master 28 left-hand dance rhythms: Waltz, Bolero, Cha-Cha, Bachata, Cumbia, Bossa-nova, Tango, Foxtrot, Charleston , Forro, Madison, Baïon, Reggae ... Work on the instrumental technique linked to each rhythm, and groove work. Set up the 28 rhythms on a right-hand theme to work on independence.
Trainer : Maxime is an accordionist. He is a freelance performer specializing in musical entertainment. A student at Cnima since the age of 11, first as a "vacataire vacances", then as a full-time student, he has won numerous international competitions. He holds a DEM (Diplôme d'Etudes Musicales) in variety accordion.
