Here is a solution to not be afraid of flats or sharps in the key ...
The PDFTOMUSIC software (40 euros) allows you to read all PDF scores that have been - exclusively - created with a score editing software (Musescore - final or other) excluding commercial scores edited by a professional printer with other vector fonts.
Once the PDF is loaded in PDFTOMUSIC, you can retrieve the music as a file in MYRIAD format ...for MYRIAD products ( Harmony Assistant and others) but also in M I D I format ...It is then possible to load the MIDI in MUSESCORE which is a FREE editor and make the necessary transpositions from semitone to semitone until all the alterations disappear.
