Hello, The queen of the bal musette is no more; like you, I learned with great sadness that the famous accordionist Yvette Horner, true incarnation of this instrument throughout the 20th century in France, died on Monday, June 11, at the age of 95.
For my part, and through this message, I have a very special thought for her. Thank you Yvette for having defended the colors of the accordion as you did throughout your beautiful and great career of Artist without forgetting also your beautiful musical writing during your compositions.may she rest in peace!

Hello
Learning the accordion starting at 5 years old and assiduously is at 15 that you start to be not too bad.to play the songs and music of others in the wake is at 20 years.
To crush samples with a computer to make music it is 5 minutes and there is no age to begin. In one year of time one is able to create tons of musics. After the tastes and the colors make a little skimming. And there remains SOPRANO ORELSAN GIM'S STROMAE etc..
Look for the error.

and whom I admire a lot like so many musicians....

the reading of his book the novel of a life " the cookie in the pocket ".
reveals the other side of this musician, pianist and accordionist extraordinaire, and takes us into her life, leaving us a share of happiness and love of music that feels good...

Hello Camilla,
Thank you for reminding us of this great lady of the accordion.
More than 50 years ago I discovered the accordion with my grandmother's old 78s and the very first LPs. There were in these records I still remember Charles Péguri and Yvette. I did not know yet who she was (no TV in our house in the years 55-60. But I said to Dad, I want to get an accordion and play like "Yvette". I never knew how to play as well as she did, but since then I have never "given up" the accordion. Later I had the chance to meet and play with the great André Verchuren, (I still have the video tape) and the style of these 2 great ones among all the other immense talents was incomparable.Yvette with her piqué and her play in the highest part of her instrument and recognizable between all.
Read also his book you will discover thousand and one facets of the life of our great and talented accordionists, there also it is of "the French touch"! the style musette which time.
Well musically

Hello
Here is an excerpt from a conversation on Facebook of the great Claude Cavagnolo (yes...yes the heir of the brand of the same name). All the greats were there around the great lady:
"....Et then on the 17th (February), organized by the SACEM and Jean-Pierre Brun, a tribute was paid to Yvette Horner, by the president of this great institution, for the great and long career, the 30 million albums sold and the thousands of shows all horizons of the great Lady of the accordion.
In the Debussy-Ravel auditorium were gathered many of her friends among whom, Marcel Azzola, Antoine, Marcel Amont, Josette and Pascal Baselli, Isabelle Durand, Lina Bossati, Ludovic Beier, Marc Berthoumieux, Patrick Brugalière, Paule Cavagnolo, Nathanaëlle and Frédéric Langlais, Jean-Louis Noton, Eric and Sandra Bouvelle, Laurent Ropars, Pascal Lebourg, Lionel Suarez, Vincent Carenzi, Guylaine Léorie, Philippe Krümm, Franck Vilain, Roberto Milési, Benoit Nortier, Christophe Jeanmougin, Damien Berezinski, François Parisi, Georges Jouvin, Jean Paul olivier the TV commentator, Jacques Bolognési, Dominique Bellot and the reading of a short message from Frédéric Mitterrand.
An unforgettable evening enhanced by a film (in progress) on the life of the icon of the evening ...."

A proof that this accordionist and recognized by all her peers including the very new generation.

Hi JPHF51,

We are impatiently waiting for this film to be finished,

I would have liked, also, to know the face of his impressario
and companion "RENE" who contributed well to the career of our icon and who also deserves his place ...

Hello
It is even essential to know the site of the Sacem which proposes a free catalog of all the works which were deposited so that it can guarantee the incomes of the rights holders.
It is good to consult the catalog. It avoids errors in the requests ... to seek a title which would be false or attributed to a person who would be only the interpreter. And that in this case risks to move away the research.
The catalog also allows you to know very quickly if a score has been distributed by a professional publisher or not. If there is no mention of a publisher. Do not search everywhere. But simply focus on the few people responsible for the creation.
Often it is enough to ask for the score by a simple letter and it is offered by the composer. Many accordionists propose them directly on their site.
Have a nice day too

Hello
For example for the title LA BOUDEUSE ..there is a so-called commercial score .... and there is a handwritten statement.
And frankly to choose I prefer by far the handwritten statement because it is super complete ... congratulations to the one who spent time to make it and offer it on P-A.
The commercial score is a bit empty.
Afterwards, if you want something more readable at home, nothing prevents you from copying the handwritten score and it will be even more beautiful than the commercial one.

Hello davidkrokettes alias .....

The example that you give on the sulky is not comparable.if I read well the 1st deposited was collected by Jules Nicoli and the 2nd it is an arrangement made for accordion by its care thus let us not mix the kinds and let us greet once again the work of titan that makes in underground cindou.it has the possibility of removing these statements which do not bring anything to the site (it is my opinion) but it does not do it, although it grumbles....

Hello
There is no question of P-A becoming anything. Only the musicians who use P-A know the difference between a commercial score with nothing in it and a hand-written or score-edited score to make it more presentable, what does it matter? Where would be the decrease in quality of P-A? That's why I took LA BOUDEUSE as an example. Now if there are handwritten statements that are not good ... I'm not talking about not beautiful ... I still think that those who recover them would be the first to make remarks on the statements if it turned out to be false. In addition, it is important to know that there are compositions that do not exist at all in score and that only a record will be the only written trace of the 78 - 45 rpm record. There will even be commercial scores that will never arrive on P-A simply because the owners of the scores do not know P-A or will not want to put them in communication anyway. So a good statement will always be welcome. Now we must not let this debate face polemics. The idea is perhaps good also to send statements to the applicants by MP if it was possible to attach a file.As for attributing a title to a good composer I think that only the references of the online catalog of the Sacem or other organizations of management of the author's rights can be authentic otherwise that they could be the references ?I am well aware of the - work - that it must represent to put order in more than 18 000 scores, but if in addition you are musician and user that what is deposited on P-A you must realize well the utility of a - good - statement (handwritten or made with an editor).what are the scores of the professional accordionists who offer their musics to us if it is not - statements - well put in page with a good editor? Karaoké-musette.com sells handwritten statements would they not be good?

Hello
Far be it from me not to acknowledge all the work that Lindu11 does. Besides, I did not express myself on that.
I just wanted to point out a - nuance - on the fact that a score would already be on P-A and that a statement for the same title would be filed could be better. That was all. It did not go any further.
But in my brief statement ..Cindou11 adds the fact that deposited scores would not be attributed to the right authors and that putting statements online would lower the quality of P-A? I'm not sure why that came up in the response to what I was raising.
I still remember that many commercial scores could stay on P-A if the differences they offered were interesting.
But if writing something in P-A brings out the knives and guns, then I'll make sure to stay away and express myself as little as possible so as not to make noise.
Let's hear the music.

Let's be clear.
Statements are NOT admissible if the original score is posted on the website.
End of the debate.

DavidKroquette, it's quite funny, you left a year ago for God knows what reason, demanding the deletion of everything you had deposited on P-A, you come back on the sly by making 12 000 different pseudos and on top of that you create the debate in less time than it takes to take a premium subscription.

So we'll stop here...

You talk about organization and you put your grain of salt in a site that you dropped on your own, before coming back, like a flower, and eating up trial period after trial period. For what purpose? To get back scores that you share elsewhere?

Start by respecting the principle of the website, of not taking the piss out of the world and then we'll listen to what you have to say.

Hello nono21

It's nice that you thought of me, but I don't think this is the right score. It is rarely songs, and moreover there is the left hand completely written
I was looking for it because it's required for a contest, so when possible, I like to see what it looks like and if the students like it, we buy the original after. But here they found their happiness. Anyway, thank you.
I didn't remove my request because it might be put one day and will be used for everyone.
Have a nice day
Well enough with this score!
