Good evening,
I have just learned of the death of our accordionist friend Christian PESCHEL, a great accordionist, conductor, author-composer from Corrèze and a great star of the accordion.

No Yoyodu77,
I didn't learn about Christian's death from André Loppe but from a third person who called me last night, who is an accordionist and who lives in Nancy.
As you can see, there is no point in writing sentences that are not true....
Greetings.

Hello José .
You may have read ... a little quickly my sentence ...
I write --- THAT ME ---- I learned ..via FaceBook ...I did not write ..THAT YOU ...it was the same way ..
I'm just saying that ...like you ...I was informed of the death ..don't go looking for ..in my sentences ...what I don't think ...moreover ...I put...lots ...of little dots ...on purpose ...to break down my thoughts well.

Hello
Damien POYARD like most of the accordionists offers on his website his scores without any registration
http://www.damien-poyard.fr/partitions-accordeon-gratuite.html
The scores of this accordionist deposited on P-A are doubled and with the disadvantage that the non-premium can not recover them before 6 months on P-A.

Hello
That's fine, it's better to aim for quality instead of quantity.
Now if P-A issues medals for deposits,
There is here the site of Jérome ROBERT, Damien POYARD's friend
https://www.jerome-robert.fr/partitions-playbacks/page/4/

And line Trebor
http://www.line-trebormusicbals.fr/catalogue.php

And there is the singular site PARTITION-ACCORDEON also in dot com which offers a lot.

Article published on this great man :On the accordion planet, everyone knows Dany Maurice. And Dany also knows everyone. A smiling, tireless little man. His age? It doesn't matter. For more than half a century, we have come across him wherever the instrument stretches its bellows. A multi-faceted artist, he has made a career as an entertainer with Charley Bazin, Marcel Azzola and Jacques Hélian. A party in his honorHe even had his own orchestra. And if he doesn't play the "piano à bretelles", he writes thousands of pages relating his career and his encounters in the course of already four books on the theme of the accordion.Dany was last Saturday in the city center where a small friendly party was given in his honor by six of his long-time Maximois friends: Jacques Bordechon, Michel Gobino, Maïté Sbero, Jean Senes, Michel and Roland Warembourg. Because if Dany has, in his youth, been a pepper grinder, a bricklayer, a window washer, he found himself on the stage thanks to his friends, his talent and his legendary good mood. Everyone remembers that "he is a jovial host, with a quick tongue and anecdote on the lips, noisemaker, presenter, comedian, mime ... and also a lover of pistou soup and lasagna. "For his part, the host, who stayed thirty-five years in the city of Preconil, recalls the key moments: " In 1936, I met "for the first time an accordionist, Maurice Alexander. I fell in love with this instrument. In 1947, I became an entertainer and, three years later, I became friends with Daniel Laget, "Monsieur Muscle", who ran the "Paris-Plage". In 1958, he was part of Jacques Hélian's training team for five years, during which he travelled the world. In 1960, at the request of Raymond Ventura, he returned to Barclay's and set up his own orchestra with some very good musicians. The adventure will last until 1970. Then, from 1971 to 1981, he accompanied the accordionist Marcel Azzola. Retirement? A word that he ignores. The proof. He travels the roads of France and Europe presenting accordion festivals, including that of Les Gêts in Haute-Savoie. Today, he manages his own publishing house and has just celebrated the 400th song, "Gentleman en roulette courte", with Pierre Roussat, composer, pianist and bass player in Paris and Ludovic Beïer, great jazzman. In addition, in partnership with Maurice B, a CD has just been released in homage to Claude Nougaro: "Nougalouse". The lyrics are by Monette Gautier and the music is by Christian Coupas and Dany Maurice.about a possible retirement, he exclaims: " Never! No, no, I don't want to stop. Adopted by a plethora of stars, Dany is faithful to his friends. Adopted by a host of stars, Dany is loyal to his friends, and he has just proved it once again by sharing with his fellow Maximians the memories of a time that those under twenty years of age have never known.

Hello Camilla,
Thank you for reminding us of this great lady of the accordion.
More than 50 years ago I discovered the accordion with my grandmother's old 78s and the very first LPs. There were in these records I still remember Charles Péguri and Yvette. I did not know yet who she was (no TV in our house in the years 55-60. But I said to Dad, I want to get an accordion and play like "Yvette". I never knew how to play as well as she did, but since then I have never "given up" the accordion. Later I had the chance to meet and play with the great André Verchuren, (I still have the video tape) and the style of these 2 great ones among all the other immense talents was incomparable.Yvette with her piqué and her play in the highest part of her instrument and recognizable between all.
Read also his book you will discover thousand and one facets of the life of our great and talented accordionists, there also it is of "the French touch"! the style musette which time.
Well musically

Hello
Here is an excerpt from a conversation on Facebook of the great Claude Cavagnolo (yes...yes the heir of the brand of the same name). All the greats were there around the great lady:
"....Et then on the 17th (February), organized by the SACEM and Jean-Pierre Brun, a tribute was paid to Yvette Horner, by the president of this great institution, for the great and long career, the 30 million albums sold and the thousands of shows all horizons of the great Lady of the accordion.
In the Debussy-Ravel auditorium were gathered many of her friends among whom, Marcel Azzola, Antoine, Marcel Amont, Josette and Pascal Baselli, Isabelle Durand, Lina Bossati, Ludovic Beier, Marc Berthoumieux, Patrick Brugalière, Paule Cavagnolo, Nathanaëlle and Frédéric Langlais, Jean-Louis Noton, Eric and Sandra Bouvelle, Laurent Ropars, Pascal Lebourg, Lionel Suarez, Vincent Carenzi, Guylaine Léorie, Philippe Krümm, Franck Vilain, Roberto Milési, Benoit Nortier, Christophe Jeanmougin, Damien Berezinski, François Parisi, Georges Jouvin, Jean Paul olivier the TV commentator, Jacques Bolognési, Dominique Bellot and the reading of a short message from Frédéric Mitterrand.
An unforgettable evening enhanced by a film (in progress) on the life of the icon of the evening ...."

A proof that this accordionist and recognized by all her peers including the very new generation.

Hi JPHF51,

We are impatiently waiting for this film to be finished,

I would have liked, also, to know the face of his impressario
and companion "RENE" who contributed well to the career of our icon and who also deserves his place ...

Hello to all. As you can see I have just put down the magazine dedicated to the accordion which is a monthly. This one is quite long to download because it is in color, to have a good view of it, I apologize, but it is the only way to have something acceptable. I thank Cindou who gave the authorization. I have only one monthly magazine at home, reserved in press, each month. That's how difficult it was to get it. So I had this idea of deposit so that those who are in this case, can finally enjoy it. I still have hundreds of deposits to make, and other. I also take the opportunity to ask those who want to learn the harmonica (chromatic) that I am available. I will deposit in tuto of the methods and albums of partitions consernant this intrument. Currently I am in school of composition. In addressing you all my friendship. Adler trio .

Very interesting, but I find this approach a bit provocative and risky to put online a magazine that has just come out.

Hello to all,
I also think that we should expect some very legitimate reactions
from the publishers of this magazine. Shouldn't we stick to the deposit of scores, methods, collections, etc. as indicated in this section?
Sincerely yours,

Hello,
while reading the conversation I was wondering the same thing...
I'm not sure if this paper belongs here. I am divided because I think it is very interesting and useful, but I think it would be better if it was not.
Adler trio can send it to interested people, by email.

Thank you for your advice to all. It is true that this is risky, that's why before doing it I asked if it was possible. Not wanting in any way to prejudice our favorite site, I fully share your opinion. The solution of slade is another idea, which I find great and without risk. I therefore rely on you to decide. I understand your reaction, Slade's solution is the best !!!!! I thank you for your participation, know that I only wanted to bring this one because it is full of information. On the other hand, do you agree that I should inform you on the forum of shows, exhibitions etc. ....... ??????

Good evening to all

Faithful reader and subscriber since almost the beginning of the ACCORDÉON and ACCORDÉONISTES magazine, this UNIQUE magazine on our fetish instrument has the great merit to have succeeded in appearing in spite of many hazards. Many changes of editors (again on this last issue 155 of September), change of name even, I think it was called ACCORDEON-MAGAZINE at its very beginning, I have to check that in my archives.
It is true that this magazine is quite expensive even in annual subscription (55 €), but its contents are extremely rich and my faith well done.
In conclusion, to join the last opinions posted on the forum, let's avoid committing "manslaughter" by copying this magazine on the site. It started with a good intention from ADLER TRIO, but the trouble he took will not be rewarded, and the editor may well punish us severely.
Especially since a dematerialized version will be available soon (to be read in the editorial page 3 of Philippe KRÛMM) of this last number 155.

Personally, I can only encourage you to read this magazine and even to buy it so that it can survive... and I swear to you that I have no link, nor any commercial attachment with this publisher... but I have an immense pleasure to leaf through this journal every month.

On the other hand, perhaps with the agreement of SLADE and the publisher (Éditions Émile), why not scan the cover page as soon as it is published?

Sincerely to you all
Jean Pierre

Hello.

Indeed, this review is very well elaborated and which puts in value very good subjects concerning known and less known accordionists, less known such as my friend Claude SOYER with the accordion and his daughter Cécile with the song which have just left their first Double Cd of 2 X 17 titles. Cd recorded in the Patrick Thuillier Studios.

Good sunday to all and to all from the Touraine.

hello Harmojack:
it's a good idea to publish this event!
of course it's too far for me but I was a fan of this kind of event where we have the pleasure to meet people who share the same passion! we can also exchange gear or sell some to finance a new equipment
last sunday there was a fair of the same kind in Belin Beliet in Landesan other one took place recently in the 34th it's the period towards the music festival!

I want to announce me also when I have knowledge of this kind of demonstration
musically Robinson
It is true that this can create opportunities for subscribers (and all other enthusiasts) to meet and discuss with each other!

Maybe a subpart in PA of PA ..... !!!! ?????

Good evening,

Would you like just a list of titles/suggestions, or would you like to get the quoted scores as well? In which case can you specify the degree of difficulty?

- Baila Cha cha (Jérôme Richard & Frédéric Langlais)
La Rivale (waltz by Joss Baselli)
El Mato (paso by Menweg)
- Olé Miranda (Paso by Michèle Boudet and Christian Peschel)
- La rumba des coeurs (Cédric and Cyril Blanchard)

The music of Yann Tiersen is also very appreciated...

I hope I gave you some ideas.

Have a nice evening,

Hello,

Yes, it all depends on your level and also on the audience. I'll explain: if they are not connoisseurs, you can play pieces that have been heard and reheard.
Otherwise, for real accordion lovers, you can play great pieces that are not very well known and on P.A. there is a real choice-I will quote "san fermin" a jota waltz that is great for the atmosphere, also "une parisienne à Séville", "very musette", "la douloureuse".... and so on, but respecting as cindou11 says the progression of the atmosphere.
Here is my humble opinion.

As far as the level is concerned, it's rather high, and I'm looking for titles and proposals as well as scores that go with them. Thanks in advance for the advice.
