Hi Daniel, I own a Korg (the PA1000) It's a very good instrument. The only drawback is that the explanatory brochure detailing all the keyboard functions is only available in English! Find out if the full French documentation comes with the keyboard (and not the little 50-page booklet, which is far too succinct).

Hello I enjoy playing my Weltmeister 120 bass piano accordion, but it's too often a solitary pleasure for my taste. I'd like to play with other instrumentalists: keyboards, brass, woodwinds, strings, percussion. I'd like to receive the contact details of other musicians in my area who'd like to share the pleasure. Given that we're some 250 km apart, we could meet at a venue yet to be found in Trois-Rivières, for example, to perform pre-selected pieces together. If the pieces are on youtube, this could serve as a reference for individual practice. The frequency of meetings remains to be determined. If there are enough participants, we could hold local rehearsals, then regional ones. I'm interested in the project; let's see if others join us. First, I'd like to get involved with a small group of musicians closer to home. Maybe we're just at the beginning of something! À +

I contacted CAMMAC. I'm told that the participants have a classical music repertoire. My repertoire is more French songs. The call remains open to share the pleasure of practicing with other musicians in my region of Quebec City.

I'll start by saying that, without being an ace, my accordion playing is pretty good. (piano key) I can reproduce several songs by Tiersen, Les Têtes Raides, or La Rue Ketanou. Anyway, while trying to improvise with my keyboards, I discovered that you could play a bit of melody with the basses and counter basses.
I realized, for example, that the 2 basses of the C chord were C and E. Could you find me the other notes of the basses and contrabasses, or direct me to a site that explains it all... Thank you all... and musically yours.
