Hello
I am looking for a used accordion ...; There are many Fratelli Crosio on the market ... ?? Do you know why?
Are there any models to avoid?
Do you have an opinion on this brand?
Thanks for your input

I played on 3 Fratelli Crosio. They were recommended to me by my teacher oscar mondial. He swore by Fratelli Crosio. You can find them quite easily for less than 1000 euros. I sold them at that price. You can still find craftsmen to tune them. Yes, they go out of tune, especially if you don't play them anymore.

I still have my fratelli crosio super junior, 80 bass, 2 way keyboard vocal, a Stradella, with the crest. It was bought in 1964 for my 8th birthday. Only once overhauled, retuned, a few skins re-tensioned. It's a legendary brand. I have a pupil who has just bought a 120 bass, 3 voices right hand, 2 registers left hand. I tried it out. Frankly, 1000 €, well tuned recently, it's great. Why are there so many of them on the market: the brand died out about ten years ago, the owners are getting old, can't play anymore, there must have been a time when one family in 5 had a bass.

Next, we played the accordion. And Fratelli Crosio was the trademark of Verchren, Aimable, Yvette Horner, ... Do the math. There are also Cavagnolos and Paolo Soprani, a matter of taste when it comes to musette tuning. Mine has been re-tuned American.

I've had it for 1 year, and frankly it's the best arranger for musette, more than realistic, a real orchestra. I played in an orchestra for 13 years, but the sound is amazing. But it doesn't replace live musicians.

In this video, this Youtuber compares the difference in sound between 5 accordions, from the cheapest to the most expensive.

50 - Bayan "Tembr" (00:00)
700$ - "Roal Standart" button accordion (00:47)
2700$ - "Pigini" button accordion (01:33)
4000$ - "Ukraine" button accordion (similar to "Jupiter") (02:26)
7000$ - Roland FR-8XB digital accordion (03:37)

Can you hear the difference? Which one is your favorite?

I like the Pigini... the Roland's bass is a little weak.

I'd like to be able to plug in an accordion, a vocal microphone and connect my laptop to broadcast soundtracks.
Would you have an idea for me please?
I've seen that there's the Bose s1 Pro and the Jbl eon one compact, but I don't know what they can do.
Could you please give me your opinion?
Merci d'avance

It's no longer 'variations', it's a total distancing from the work. The other professionals remain very confused. Bravo for the performance this play very fast, but not convinced of the rest.
